The Orbits were a rockabilly trio Formed in 1980 by John Larmett (Drums) Dean Kennedy (Lead Guitar) and Stephen Dawson (Double Bass) while they were still in High School. They changed their name to the Heptones in 1981 after being joined by Geoff Ollier on second guitar and finally evolved into the Crawdads in 1982.
