The band was born out of a few jams with Luke (singer) and Jim (guitarist) in early 2009. They came from a strong music community in the little town of Harlow in Essex and quickly began looking for additional band members. They eventually came across Joey (bass) who at the time, had the reputation of pretty much playing in every local band at one point or another. Once they found a drummer, they began plugging away, rehearsing after dark at cafe where Joey was working at the time. For the next year or so they hit the London circuit playing all manner of venues and clubs while we honed our sound, managing to secure support slots for the likes of Mystery Gang Trio and The Jim Jones Revue.
In October 2010, their drummer left. They quickly searched for a replacement as they had a show just round the corner. They remembered that a guy called Rob had spoken to them after a show they did in Harlow and said that if they ever needed a drummer to give him a ring. With Rob behind the sticks everything quickly began to take shape. They had a new look, a new sound and new confidence and people started to take notice.
They played the Brighton Rumble in the December of 2010 and Steve Willis of Rollin Records was in the audience. A few weeks later an email dropped into their inbox offering them the chance to cut their first record and in the following February they were in the studio laying down the tracks.
It was around this time things really started to pick up, playing shows almost weekly and gaining decent exposure which eventually resulted in contact with a promoter in Europe. They got their first taste of playing abroad in May 2011 when they went over to Germany and the Netherlands where they provided support for Luis & The Wildfires for two dates on their European Tour. Since then, they have been to Denmark and Belgium with Sweden, Spain and the US penciled in for the new year.
Just as they were gearing up to begin writing the tracks for their first album they got a call from Darrel Higham, of Imelda May fame, who had been recommended their youtube videos. A few phones calls and a meeting in an essex pub later, they began writing the tracks for their debut album on Ambassador Records.
Along with the album, they are scheduled to appear heavily across Europe in the new year and will also be in the states for a series of shows in L.A and Vegas for the Wild Records VLV pre-show.
Their sound is somewhere between late 50s rock'n'roll venturing into the 60s garage side of things and they're all big fans of contemporary band like The Hives and The Black Lips.

A big "thank you" to Luke and the Ladykillers for the infos.
